The Arcana Evolved is the latest release from Monte Cook on his variant world using the OGL made famous by Dungeons and Dragons.
What makes this sourcebook so unique in my mind is how different it feels from traditional D&D games. There are no such things as alignments. Much like the real world, you can be evil and no one may know of it. The magic system is completely different. The classes are fairly different and unique. And aside from humans, the races are pretty unique as well.
